Update Sort of Thing

Reserves/Youth Team
Anyone watch the reserves/youth team regularly? Or if not do you want to?
Would be good if someone could/did and would be willing to write a few words about each performance, maybe pick out a few players who have particularly impressed.

Either just for on here or preferably for main site as well.

Let me know if you fancy it either here or via PM if you'd rather do it anon.

Articles for Main Site
If you fancy sounding off about something then please do - again PM me for details and this can be anon. too if you prefer!

actually i wanted to thank you and apologise too.

A while ago when i set up that email address you mentioned that we should just all come here for streams and suchlike. I preferred to try and save that thread in my own way by saving it from matchday clutter.

clearly it was a lost cause so glad you've got this place up and running and glad to help.

A feature which I think needs to go is the one which alerts you to new posts being made on a thread since you started typing a reply. It stops you from posting your reply until nobody has entered a new reply since you last pressed "post".

That's going to get VERY annoying when we get busy - it's already happened to me a couple of times on today's match thread. I had to hit "post" about 4 times before it was submitted.

If you start in the quick reply but decide you want smileys, just hit preview and it gives you the option.

Could we sort the colours out slightly in the threads?

it does my eyes in trying to decipher what is a post and what is a signiture.

EG

we have a little bit of red writing (thread title), thin black line, then black text underneath at the top.

Then at the bottom "report to a moderator" is little and in red writing, a thin black line and then the signiture.

Its very hard to not fuck your eyes up reading through, i hope i am not the only one having issues with this.

If you look at f365 the forum stuff like username, post count profile, reply etc are in one colour of grey, the text box for the reply is in another.

So when you glance at it there is a clear seperation between each reply.

Because our background is pure white, the blacklines look like the seperations so you end up reading every single signiture.

oh and a realise 1 reply is white the next is kinda grey, but maybe the colours are too subtle to create a contrast?

removing the lines between the post and the sig helps too tbf.

anything that can be done about the thread icon things that show which topics have new posts? it's kinda difficult to see which threads have new posts in them

do something to make them really stand out

You can turn sigs off in your profile - as in you can decide not to see anyone's signature.
